Asking for invites — how do they know?
Long chose where to send in the "idea for Habra in love Habr".
I'm ... pretty new user (in fact, today is exactly a month since I arrived to this community). To register here — I posted one article and UFOs, I was invited the other options I have not seen, to get here. Honestly after I read the help, because as many here I was initially not clear. During this time, I issued a few posts, one of which got enough votes and I got one invite. After that I had some letters + some people knocked in icq — the theme was the same: requested an invite to habrahabr. And here actually a question: how do they know? got a Grasp again on the help — realized that the fact that one of the articles received more than 50 votes, but a simple check makes clear that a non-authenticated user cannot see the voting results, therefore a "merge" their. :)
Hence the question: why? Don't know how the others act in such cases, I always say the same thing "At Habra it is possible to obtain an invite by sending a post in the Sandbox — try it and if you deserve you will surely get an invite. Good Luck To You!". It may, of course, I answer, because he got an invite through the Sandbox, even more likely so. And maybe, really, I was just lucky that I'm the first time and quickly got an invite, but in reality everything happens differently.
But honestly, I don't want to evaluate the man in the street worthy of Habra it or not, it's none of my business, and I have no time for this. Of course, another thing, if it were my friend, then I don't need to delve into his profiles, I already know, and I can say he is worthy or not, and in the case of a positive answer to give him an invite.
In the end, not to ponder more over what "can be that man and need to give an invite", went to the sandbox — the most interesting thing I saw I really interesting and useful post — and gave the man an invite.
