Automatic download of new films
some time ago I have already taken attempt to automate the downloading of movies — at the time it was a service based on the API kinobaza.tv. However, the API was then not quite completed (not always in the list of hit films, not always to make downloading movies in Russian language), and now, it seems, and all die. So I had to make a second attempt — kino2rss (although, premiers2rss it would be more correct).
How does it work?
Every Thursday (the day of film premieres), the service reads the list of movies coming to the big screen, RSS-feed site Kinopoisk. Unfortunately, the RSS contains a minimum of information about the movie title, poster, description and... everything. Other information I thought (for example, parsing the page, IMDb, or the obtaining of information under the guise of a mobile client), but decided that something is not very right ways. Because the site provides only minimal information.
By the way, request to add in the RSS a little more information, the administration Kinopoisk simply ignores (that is, in General, can be understood).
To view the list of movies you need to go to the site with your Google ID (the website uses Google App Engine, was made for you, because this method of entrance is considered acceptable). Looking through the list of movies on the website, for each film you can put the mark — DVD and/or HD. As soon as the movie appears in the torrent tracker (see below) as desired (respectively, DVDRip or 1080p), it will automatically be downloaded.
Times a day service requests new films of appropriate quality on the torrent tracker NNM-Club. The search is on this tracker because it has excellent service for more movies in the form of RSS, and also because it has almost all the new (uncensored, in contrast to the same events).
Upon detection of a new film, downloaded it and it searched the id of the film on the kinopoisk. Accordingly, if the film of the same id exists in our database, and keep the link to the torrent file.
To automatically download movies service creates a personalized RSS feed. Once you have found the torrent file for your chosen film, a corresponding entry is added to the ribbon. And if an RSS feed attached to your favorite rocking chair (for example, µTorrent), the movie will be downloaded automatically. However, the feed URL is still necessary to add a Personal key (see details in the description of the tape).

Upd. Assume the following scenario of use: once a week you go to the site, browse newly added movies (they added pieces 6-10 per week), mark those that interest you. When you see a torrent in good quality (DVD or HD) the selected movie is downloaded automatically. Because on the website there is no search for movies.
Upd2. Ended with a free quota of GAE. On the website throws out an error. Try to go tomorrow ;).
